Day 12: Hop Circle IPA

It's a close encounter of the thirst kind. Resistance is futile.

The Story:
Just in case you haven't noticed by now, we really love our hops.  Luckily for us our brewery location is in a great spot to feed hop addiction, as some of the best hops on the planet are grown just south of us in the American Pacific Northwest.  With such a great crop at our fingertips we couldn't help but brew up a crisp, bright IPA to showcase those beautifully fresh citrus and pine flavours. Our Hop Circle IPA, first spotted in 2005, is a nod to the very special terrior of the Pacific Northwest and those little green men that allow IPAs to abduct your senses...well little green women actually; hops are the flowers harvested from the female plants.

Tasting Notes:
Pours a golden straw colour with a thick frothy head.  Bold aromas of citrus with a fresh pine undertone.  Has a clean fruity flavour with a grapefruit bitter finish.

Availability:
Hop Circle is available year-round in 6 packs of 341mL bottles and 355mL cans.  It's also a permanent sighting in the Hop Box Mixed Pack.

  1. So... I never got the Zeus ipa or the hop circle in my case, I got the trainwreck barley wine, twice. Boo hiss, boo hiss. Did different cases get sent to Alberta?

    1. No they were all the same cases. Sorry about the mixup, the elves that hand stuffed the boxes were actually humans (us Phillips folk), and there may have been a couple mixups. Please send the brewery and email at info@phillipsbeer.com with contact info and we'll try and make it right for you.

Hope you're enjoying hte rest of the ride.
